General characteristics
Double seal, unbalanced, multi-spring, independent from the direction of rotation (dependent on the direction of shaft rotation in case of pumping ring application).

Applications
The VD is a general purpose mechanical seal with a wide range of applications. These seals are reliably operated in media which do not form lubricating films, and in toxic, flammable and explosive media. Use of the barrier liquid system assures seal lubrication and cooling, and prevents deposit formation on the seal sliding surfaces, to increase its reliability and durability.
