SPLIT SEALS TYPE IDZ-L.090 FOR KNEADERS OF ADHESIVE MASSES

ANGA in cooperation with its German partner, ESC Technical Service GmbH in Geislingen, successfully implemented the special design of the split seal IDZ-L.090 in production plants of chemical company Henkel AG&Co.KGaA in Germany.

The user had a problem with a sealing of shafts of large kneading reactors, which kneads very viscous mass of adhesive, which is an intermediate product in the manufacturing process of adhesives for the furniture industry (picture “before applying IDZ” below).

The design of the mixer, its large size and the specificity of the process required the use of split seal, which will be working with a viscous medium and will be durable and easy to install.

Previous seals have worked about one month only. Seals type IDZ-L.090 are operating without failure for over a year. It allows the user to reduce the cost of repairs of kneading reactors and improve its manufacturing process of adhesives (photo “After applying IDZ” below).
