Component seals
Component seals consist of two main elements: a rotating (dynamic) part, bolted to the machine shaft, and a fixed (stationary) part assembled in the cover or housing of the machine. Compared to cartridge seals, component seals are not pre-assembled and their assembly requires experience and the necessary measurements to set the correct working length of the mechanical seal.
A10
The A10 mechanical seal is designed to work with extremely aggressive chemical compounds which do not contain abrasive particles. Metal components of the A10 seal do not touch the sealed medium.
A11
The A11 mechanical seal is designed to work with extremely aggressive chemical compounds which can contain some abrasive particles. Metal components of the A11 seal are isolated from the sealed medium. The A11 seal has a visual wear indicator and a rotating ring with a carbon graphite insert.
A3
It is a general purpose mechanical seal with a wide range of applications. It is designed to operate with cold and hot water, oils, fuels, not very aggressive chemicals and other liquids containing small amounts of abrasives. The A3 seal with a central spring is dependent on the direction of the shaft rotation.
A4
It is a general purpose mechanical seal with a wide range of applications. It is designed to operate with cold and hot water, oils, fuels, not very aggressive chemicals and other liquids containing small amounts of abrasives.
A41
It is a general purpose mechanical seal with a wide range of applications. It is designed to operate with cold and hot water, oils, fuels, not very aggressive chemicals and other liquids containing small amounts of abrasives. The A41 seal is dimensionally adapted to direct application in place of the A1 seal.
E1
The E1 mechanical seal is used in petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. It is designed to operate with hot oils, fuels and other hydrocarbons, liquid gases and other media containing small amounts of abrasives.
E2
The E2 mechanical seal is used in petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. It is designed to operate with hot oils, fuels and other hydrocarbons, liquid gases and other media containing small amounts of abrasives.
